He thinks about saying more about Diva, but also decides against it. That's something he has an opinion on, but because of how it relates to some other things he's still parsing through, he decides to keep it to himself. The rest of the conversation is more important anyways. ]

Not a bad idea, but with what? Since, well, seems like they, whoever they are, they've got more to work with than us. Not discounting the idea here, but just saying, what kind of barricade are you making that could stop 'em? Which, rhetorical question, so you don't need to answer, but-

[ He gives a cockier smile when she mentions the broken nose, and he even laughs. ]

Yeah, that's how it's gonna go. I feel like you've gotta take risks if you want the reward. Where, uh, the reward here is "not dying," apparently. [ He shrugs ] So, kind of up to you there. You don't think it's worth the risk? Can't blame ya. But networking is the best we've got for now, at least so far as I can see.

[ Jack pauses, then laughs as he bows his head lightly ]
